Overview

PixelPinch is developed by Jiten Labs. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.

Your photos stay on your device

All image processing — resizing, cropping, compression, rotation, and metadata removal — happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never sent to us, and never shared with any third party. PixelPinch has no cloud storage and no backend.

No account required

PixelPinch does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not collect, store, or have access to any personal data about you.

Advertising

PixelPinch displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process:

• Your device's advertising ID
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
• General location inferred from IP address
• Ad interaction data such as impressions and clicks

This data is collected by Google, not by us. We do not receive your personal information from Google.

Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.

Purchases

PixelPinch offers a one-time purchase that removes ads permanently. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive, see, or store your payment details, card information, or billing address.

Google Play tells the app whether this purchase has been made, so ads can be switched off. That record is tied to your Google account, which is how the purchase is restored if you reinstall the app or move to a new device. Nothing else about your account is shared with us.

If you remove ads, the app stops requesting ads entirely and the advertising data described above is no longer collected.

Consent for users in the EU, UK, and certain regions

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with applicable privacy laws, PixelPinch will ask for your consent before serving personalised ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You may change your choice at any time through the app.

Permissions

PixelPinch asks for very little:

• Photos — on Android 10 and later PixelPinch requests no photo permission at all. Choosing an image goes through the Android system photo picker, which hands back only the picture you select, and saving writes through the system media store. On Android 9 and older, storage access is requested only so results can be saved.
• Camera — PixelPinch does not request camera access. Taking a new photo opens your own camera app, which handles its own permissions and returns the picture to PixelPinch.
• Internet — used solely to load advertisements. Your images are never transmitted.

Children

PixelPinch is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
